Samba has large deep red-scarlet petals with contrasting dark purple centers revealing a white and purple throat with medium sized green leaves. Attracts hummingbirds to the garden! This bold-colored Cuphea is a compact, mounding subshrub. Tubular flowers reach 1″” in diameter, with slightly ruffled edges. This sun-loving plant can reach up to 3 feet in height and width. Ideal for hanging baskets, containers, beds, and borders, this plant needs little care besides regular watering once the soil has dried out.
